We started a new tradition in 2020 at Dixie Love after the first Veteran’s Day without my Pawpaw. One of the things me and my pawpaw always had in common and he taught me well was to love a good deal. We always told each other every time we scored the best deal, sale, or negotiated a killer buy. So of course when Veteran’s Day came around not only was it a time to thank my Pawpaw and many others who dedicated a time in their life to our country but also celebrate them by finding all the awesome deals that were offered to him on that day. I would always tell him the new ones I would find and he would always tell me which ones he hit up that day. It was something we always shared and in my way of keeping this tradition alive I started a blog last year to highlight all the local and non local discounts given to our veterans on Veterans Day as a thank you for everything you do so we can all enjoy the freedoms we have today. We are forever grateful for you and hope that you feel the love and gratitude that you deserve on this holiday dedicated to you. Bass Pro Shop Military Discount
Bass Pro Shops are proud to honor military servicemembers and veterans with their Legendary Salute - a 5% discount available every day, both online and in-store. The 5% discount is also now available on firearms and ammunition and can be combined with other sales and promotions (excluding things like boats, ATVs, Tractors, and other large vehicles). Bass Pro Shops will be increasing their military discount to 10% for Veterans Day, running from 11/10 - 11/13.

My Pawpaw passed away this past March and Veterans Day has always been a big deal in our family. Pawpaw proudly went with every grandkid and great grandkids to their Veterans Day programs.
